Ik wil kinderen helpen met de lesstof die in de groep is uitgelegd maar waarbij extra oefening nodig is. Of juist opnieuw uitleg geven als het niet wordt begrepen. Dan gaan we kijken tot waar in de leerlijn de lesstof wel wordt begrepen en actief gebruikt wordt. Daarnaast kijk ik of er factoren zijn die eventueel het leren begrijpen, onthouden tegen hebben gehouden.
Peuters en kleuters kan ik begeleiden met spel, actief praten, woordenschat en beginnende reken en leesactiviteiten passend bij de leerlijn en leeftijd van het kind.

Ook kan ik huiswerk zelfstandig kunnen plannen en maken aanleren. Met daarbij dat ook de rest van de week activiteiten in een planning kunnen worden meegenomen.

Tijdens mijn studie Econometrie aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam (afgestudeerd in 2015, MSc.) en naast mijn baan als consultant, heb ik altijd met veel plezier wiskunde en statistiek gegeven aan middelbare scholieren en universitaire studenten (HBO en WO). Sinds 2022 werk ik parttime als wiskundedocent en onderwijsadviseur in het Emma Kinderziekenhuis in Amsterdam en daarnaast geef ik les aan privéstudenten.

Ik geloof dat iedereen wiskunde kan leren. En met een gemiddelde beoordeling van 8.5 voor mijn examentrainingen bij onder anderen lyceo, heb ik een hoop anderen dat ook doen ervaren.

We beginnen meestal met wat (eenvoudige) opgaven rondom het onderwerp om te peilen waar jouw begrip zit. Zo kan ik een aanpak op maat construeren waarmee jij gegarandeerd het licht zult zien. Echte garanties bestaan natuurlijk niet in het onderwijs. Maar ik kan wel garanderen dat jij, na elk uurtje bijles, weer een stukje dichter bij het wiskundegenie zult zijn dat je eigenlijk bent.
