Private lessons in Maths and Statistics - English or Spanish

Hello, my name is Víctor and I am expert in statistics with a big knowledge in mathematics. My teaching experience is quite extensive, loving to teach and deal with new math problems.

Mathematics is a huge scientific area and I consider that a way to understand the maths and its complexity is through exercises. However, the first step is to know the theoretical aspects. The lessons will be organized in two parts: the first one will be theoretical and the second one practical. The objective is to have a quick overview of the applied theory in each exercise to use it in similar exercises.

Each student will follow each own path and that will also be defined lesson by lesson. Depending on the student level and objectives some modifications will be done in our way of working, aiming always for making the lessons as easy to follow as possible.

If the purpose of the lessons is to pass an exam, we will adapt our way of working and will focus on understanding the theory quickly to do as much exercises as possible.

I describe myself as a Math lover. This science has too much to share and never is to late to dig deeper on its different areas. Unfortunately, too many people hate it but that opinion can be changed with just a bit of studying and logical reasoning. That is my objective, making people understand it and to love them as I do, or at least to do not hate them. Everything can be applied in the real world, we only have to find the proper situation!

I am prepared to teach everyone who needs my help, answering their doubts and using as much examples as possibles.

My courses are intended for students of all levels including basic, secondary, terminal, university preparatory or 1st and 2nd university years. Any other levels also applies.

Opleiding

I have a degree in Mathematics and a Master's Degree in Applied Statistics from the University of Granada. Currently, my main target is to apply my statistical knowledge in the business, providing companies with insights and conclusions about their data.

I am an MSc CIvil Engineering, M.Sc Finance and Economics, and an MBA graduate with over 14 years of experience teaching Mathematics up to the undergraduate level. Over the years, I have worked with a wide range of students and have successfully helped them excel in their studies. In addition to my extensive teaching background, I have more than 8 years of experience guiding students through standardized tests such as the GRE and SAT. My goal is to help you master these tests with effective strategies and a clear understanding of the subject matter.
