I like to bring a fresh approach to developing the musical awareness and technique of my students. My teaching experience has shown me that it's important to maintain the student's individuality whilst striving to improve their overall level of musicianship.

Ashley is a saxophonist and composer formerly based in London and Birmingham, UK. Under the tuition of Mike Williams, Percy Pursglove and Hans Koller, Ashley graduated from the Birmingham Conservatoire with Honours in the summer of 2015. During his time on the course, Ashley was selected to be coached by and subsequently perform with internationally renowned musicians Jeff Ballard, George Colligan and the late John Taylor.

A product of the Junior Guildhall Jazz Programme, Ashley has performed in numerous venues around London including the Barbican and Royal Albert Hall. Before moving to Paris to pursue new musical projects he was a private educator and an active member of the Birmingham Jazz scene for 6 years.

This course aims to introduce you to the Judeo-Andalusian music as practiced at the time in the alleys of the Kasbah of Algiers.
You will discover the rithmic foundations as well as a tour of the musical repertoire that has been preserved to this day.

My courses are aimed for amateurs and / or professionals wishing to improve their level in solfège, music theory, piano and improvisation.

After a first meeting with the student, and after a short audition and discussion, we can develop a work plan that can help him accomplish his goal in the most effective way possible.

We will cross a simple and practical route.
I give lessons in:

1 - Musical theory
- All the basics of music theory
- Contemporary writings
- Contemporary notation, film music

2 - Solfeggio:
- Spoken music theory (treble clef, bass clef)
- Sung music theory (treble clef)
- Musical dictation (one voice or two)

3 - Harmony:
- Harmonic analysis
- Harmonic writing (4 voice choir SATB)

My name is Louba and I am 29 years old, holder of the Honorary Prize in Music Theory, I provide you with music lessons including music theory lessons (deciphering, rhythmic reading) and music theory as well as everything else. which touches on musical awakening in children or beginners.
Music theory remains a tool for learning music and understanding it better (whatever the instrument), to decipher and play all the pieces you want.
Having experience as a temporary teacher in the national conservatory of music and dance in Morocco, I know how to be patient, educator, cheerful and devoted.
