This class is designed specifically to enhance your communicative skills.. Most of English learners, especially in the Gulf, find talking and discussing topics in English daunting and uncomfortable! Every student knows that confidence when speaking is the biggest barrier when learning English. How do you gain confidence? Through practice and feedback!

The major aim of this class is to engage in daily conversations, discussions and presentations to boost your confidence level in English communication. You will learn how to use intonation to make your speech sound natural.
Along with the journey, you will learn when/how to use the right grammar rule, and the appropriate set of vocabularies.

I am a linguist keen to widen my expertise and jump out of my ‎comfort zone. My previous experience as an English teacher equipped ‎me with the required set of language, analytical and planning skills. A qualified language coach with 25 years of experience offers intensive Dutch lessons in a small class or online.

I give many Dutch NT2 lessons to expats and in preparation for an integration exam.
Specialized in guiding for the State Exam I and II. Special exam coach.

In January 2025 I will also start with groups again. We have a great classroom in the center of Rotterdam, near metro station Beurs, lessons with small homogeneous groups (little difference in level).

We mainly go for quality and not just running a lesson. I am really involved in the progress of the student. In addition to teaching, I want to do everything to really motivate students to take the next step. That is my strength!

You can also choose the online lesson package with Whereby, Teams or Zoom in a comfortable way. Online classes are one-on-one or maximum one-on-two, for better results.

My English is fluent, as well as Portuguese and Spanish. I understand the difficulties of overcoming barriers for Latin languages and for expats in general, as I have also been an expat.

Online lessons last 75 minutes once a week for 10 weeks to reach a higher level.

This is the normal speed. Including exam training (A-2 or Staatsexamen) and exam at the end.

Intensive training ? That can also be done in five to ten full days, I am used to giving these very intensive trainings to CEOs or managers who want it faster and more intensive ... all lessons within 3 or 4 weeks. Based on the European system A-1, A-2, B-1, B-2 and C-1

As soon as students want to further improve their knowledge of Dutch, I always advise and coach them to take the State Exam I or II, the only formal Certificate in this country, recognized by employers and universities.

I will try to switch to conversation after a few lessons, to put your knowledge into practice as soon as possible. Don't get too caught up in the grammar.

Teaching is my ultimate passion and even after 25 years it feels like the first time and students always feel inspired to overcome the obstacles.

I also teach you about Dutch social culture, which is intertwined in the course and is strongly related to the language.

I like to use different methods to teach French to students. It can be through songs, drama, role play or videos. I also very often use situations close to the student's experience, such as describing places they have been or talking about what they have experienced. At the same time, I teach the grammar rules to the student. I now live in regions where French has been spoken for over 30 years. Because I have learned French myself (and I am still learning other languages), I can easily put myself in a student's shoes. I can teach in French, Dutch, English, German and Russian.

Hello students!

Are you ready to learn English? Then let's get started! The classes will combine entertainment and hard work. We talk in English from the very first lesson and tailor our lessons to suit your needs. All levels and ages, both online and in person!

Our lessons are adapted to your needs. We can focus on basic grammar and vocabulary, or start from scratch. On the other hand, we can also work together to prepare for official exams and deal with more complicated situations. Improving business English is also a possibility, as I have previous experience in that area.

During our lessons we will mainly use online resources, personalized activities and powerpoint. You will get some homework every lesson, so that you can further internalize what we have seen in class. The lessons can last 1 to 2 hours, depending on personal preference and availability. They are held once or twice a week.

I graduated in English Studies, where we studied General English, Morphology, Culture and Literature. In addition, I also have a Master's degree in Language Teaching, which gave me all the tools necessary to teach. I am currently studying a PhD in English Literature at the University of Lleida.

I have over 10 years of experience teaching English, plus experience teaching Spanish. I have had both face-to-face and online lessons, both in large and small groups and for individual students.
