Hello everyone,
My name is Pancevski Filip and I am an International Master. I have more than 10 years of teaching experience, and I have had more than 50 students from all around the world. I have had students from all levels, so I can help you whenever you are beginner, intermediate or advanced player.
I started playing chess when I was five years old. Since my beginnings I have had a coach and attended a chess school, so I know how important is to have someone to guide you and help you along your chess journey

I became IM in 2008 and since then I have two norms for Grandmaster, and I am trying to get the final norm so that I can become a Grandmaster. So far I have been 6 times champion of my country Macedonia, and I have played for the national team on 5 Chess Olympiads.

My three main areas of expertise (not necessarily in this order):

- Chess: I teach chess to beginners and intermediate players up to ELO 1800 or ECF 1700, working on the tactical and strategic aspects of openings, middle games and endgames.. "chess is life in miniature"!

- Fitness / Running / Triathlon: I coach people who want to get fitter and generally incorporate any endurance activity into a health(ier) lifestyle. I am a dedicated coach who has competed in several marathons and Ironman races (also qualified for the Ironman World Championship). I focus on nutrition, stress and sleep as well for a holistic approach.

- Languages: I specialize in tutoring Italian and Spanish; my style is to keep students challenged and motivated through simple classes and practical exercises (pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary).. I'm a demanding teacher but will guide you in a fun and interactive way.

Chess is a fun game that starts with the basic rules and moves through the 3 parts of the game: the opening, the middlegame, and the endgame.

The focus at first is to teach you how the pieces move, what the goal of the opening is, and how the pieces interact. You will also learn the vocabulary related to chess and chess notation.

Tactics are then explored to take advantage of hanging pieces, lack of king safety, space, and tempo. From here depending on what your personal goals are we will adapt the classes to cover what will help you progress.

I can also give group classes, contact me if you have a group, we can discuss how to best organise those classes and pricing.

I offer both online and face-to-face training. For online training we can use Discord, Skype or Zoom.

The training is adapted to the needs of the student. During the lessons, we work together to identify the student's weaknesses and work specifically on them.
I was first introduced to chess at the age of 5. At 17 I joined the Düsseldorf Chess Club and at 18 I headed a primary school chess club.
I have a Chess.com online Rapid Rating of around 1650, which puts me in the top 2% of rapid chess players on Chess.com.
I use a large part of my free time to improve my chess skills by working through books, solving problems, playing games, analyzing them extensively and exchanging ideas with other players.

Hello everybody!
My name is Vladislav, I'm 20 years old, and I've been living in Vienna for two years. I'm a FIDE Master with a rating of 2384, winner of the 2025 Vienna State Masters Championship, and a prizewinner of the 2025 Memorial Korchnoi. I also successfully passed the 2025 MedAT with 84% – this demonstrates that I learn in a structured way, develop strategies, and can convey complex content in an understandable way.

I was a member of the Saint Petersburg national team, twice the winner of the Russian Youth Team Championship, multiple winner of the Saint Petersburg Youth Championship, runner-up of the 2018 European Youth Team Championship in Tallinn, and a participant and prizewinner of many international competitions.

I am a certified chess teacher based in Berlin (DOSB-Trainerin C Leistungssport) and a former competitive player, holding the title of Candidate Master in Russia (FIDE peak 1974).
