I prefer to focus on communications. Grammar is important, but if you can't communicate, your grammar knowledge is almost useless. During a lesson we talk a lot with my students, I explain the grammar, but usually they practice it alone as homework. Obviously, if they have a problem, we practice together.

Hello, I am Szilvia from Hungary. Originally I was a history teacher but I decided to help people learning Hungarian. It is a beautiful language but it can be challenging.

Hungarian is a very complex language. In the beginning, unfortunately, you need to learn a lot of grammar rules. I try to create some fun exercises to practice these rules. Every material is personalized for my students.

We can converse about certain topics or your interests. The lessons are focused on conversations, but we can also discuss your grammar mistakes.

It is said that this language was invented by the devil one day when he was drunk.
The Hungarian language belongs to the Uralic languages, a linguistic family of more or less 30 languages spoken by approximately 15 million people worldwide. Languages such as Mari, Erzya (spoken in Russia), Estonian and Finnish belong to this family. However, the most prominent Uralic languages are Finnish, Estonesian and Hungarian due to the number of speakers and national identity. The origin of this language family is said to be around the Volga River in Russia, but there are several theories, another says that it originated between the Oká River (also in Russia) and Poland. The first time mention of words belonging to this family of languages was identified was in the year 98 BC. C.
By the way, do not think that because of how extraordinary this language is, they do not accept it as an official language, it is one of the 24 official languages in the European Union.
