I am a French student at the University of Leeds in England, although I am originally from Manchester, England.
I have just finished my year abroad in France and will be in Montpellier for the summer and have decided to help some fellow language learners with my native language.
Unlike some other tutors, I am not a teacher and don't have years of experience teaching. However I have been learning languages for several years and understand the difficulties which this brings.
I believe in taking an informal, practical approach to language learning in order to provide the student with good knowledge and opportunity to practice the language in a way they will actually use it, rather than doing endless hours of verb conjugation and tenses.
I am ideally looking for students who already have some knowledge of English (even if it's just enough to say 'Hello' and order food/drink) but wish to take the time to improve it particularly for conversation.
Like I mentioned, I am from Manchester in the North of England, which I means I have a relatively strong accent (think Jon Snow from Game of Thrones) - however I speak very clearly and would give you the chance to learn with an authentic English accent rather than received pronunciation.

Je viens de finir mon année à l'étranger à France et je serai à Montpellier jusqu'à la fin d'été et j'ai décidé que je voudrais aider des autres apprenants de langue avec ma langue maternelle.
Contrairement aux autres tuteurs, je ne suis pas prof et je ne possède pas des années et années d’expérience. Pourtant j'ai étudié les langues pour plusieurs années donc, je comprends les problèmes et les besoins des apprenants.
Je préfère d'utiliser les moyens d'enseignement moins formel et plus pratique, pour fournir l'apprenant avec une bonne connaissance de la langue et l'opportunité à pratiquer la langue dans une façon utile, sans plusieurs heures de conjugaison etc.
Idéalement, je cherche des étudiants qui possèdent de la connaissance de l'anglais (même si c'est seulement assez pour dire Bonjour ou commander une boisson ou un repas) mais qui veulent prendre le temps pour l’améliorer.
Comme j'ai déjà mentionné, je viens de Manchester dans le nord d'Angleterre, donc je possède un accent assez fort (un peu comme Jon Snow de "Game of Thrones") - cependant je parle clairement et en plus je vous fournirais l'opportunité d'apprendre l'anglais avec un véritable accent d'Angleterre plutôt que la prononciation standard.
