I specialise in preparing students for Cambridge exams (FCE, FCE For Schools, CAE and Proficiency), as well as other exams such as TOEFL/TOEIC and IELTS.

I have successfully prepared dozens of learners from Madrid for their Cambridge exams since 2015. I can provide you with all the insights and tips and strategies that I have picked up over the years to make sure that you pass your exam with the score that you need. I have a huge amount of online materials and resources (which can also be accessed during in-person classes).

I am a teacher of English as a second language who has been based in Madrid, Spain, since 2004. I specialise in preparing students for Cambridge exams (FCE, CAE and Proficiency), as well as other exams such as TOEFL/TOEIC and IELTS.

I also have a deep understanding of what adult professionals need to do in order to improve their communication in English at work or in their career. I focus on communicative skills (speaking and listening), and make sure my students are ready to deal with any real-life situations they may encounter.

Having studied two foreign languages at university, I also understand the importance of a good understanding of the grammar of a foreign language. I can explain any doubts or questions regarding English grammar clearly and precisely. I have a wide range of materials and resources ready to use in class.

I had already been doing online classes since 2015 and once the pandemic began, I took the opportunity to become proficient in all the current and relevant online platforms and tools.

English is the most spoken language in the world. I have level C2 in English. I took the Cambridge exam. I have previously given English classes to students, adults, etc. For me it is better to teach it with books but also through examples or tastes. For example if you like soccer, I can use that. I am Dutch.
