My lessons are meant for every age and level, every lesson is tailored to the needs and peculiarity of each student. You will find a relaxed and stimulating environment in which I will guide you towards the achievement of your learning goals.
The lessons last 1 hour long and will take place at my house or yours. Online lessons are possible but preferably only as a backup every once in a while.

I am a 29 year old Italian Violist, I am currently based in Maastricht where I just finished my Master's studies in Viola in the Zuyd Conservatory.
Along side working in multiple professional orchestras and playing in both chamber music and solo concerts, I have been teaching private lessons in Italy to students of every age for several years. Before moving to the Netherlands, I was teaching in a music school Violin and Viola and I have been taking pedagogy and teaching courses to improve my teaching skills.

Hello! My name is Ana, I am 32 years old and I am a violin teacher with 10+ years of teaching experience working with children and adults, specializing in creating a supportive environment for beginners and advanced players. I am based in Maastricht and I teach at my violin studio in Scharn.

My teaching focuses on developing solid technique and musicality in a friendly and encouraging environment. I help students build a strong foundation and enjoy music-making. Over the years I have developed my own teaching method which includes elements from ABRSM, Trinity, Suzuki and Galamian methods, as well as covers standard violin repertoire. This makes learning structured and fun. For optimal development, I organize frequent lessons with the piano accompanist as well as a two class concerts per year in various locations in Maastricht, where everybody is welcome to join and support! Because I am always fully committed to my students, I like to study each case individually and prepare for each lesson beforehand.

A bit about my teaching background: both my parents are violin teachers, so this is my world since I can remember. As soon as I started conservatory in London I started teaching privately and in a music school while I was studying performance and music pedagogy. I am proud to have very high-level students that have pursued a career in music and have become exceptional violinists.

I currently divide my time between teaching violin and playing as Co-Principal second violin at Philharmonie Zuidnederland, as well as freelancing in other orchestras like Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Rotterdam Philharmonisch Orkest and Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest. I gained my Bachelor's Degree from the Royal College of Music in London with a specialization in teaching and a Master's Degree from Musikhochschule Lübeck. I was an academist at the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in 2017/2018.

Lessons can be in Dutch, English or Spanish.

As a cello teacher, my mission with my cello school is to create an interest in my students and give the knowledge of learning how to learn. I want every student that has a lesson with me get the value of learning and create lifelong interest for the cello. The cellist life is filled with community, friendship, history

Not only the skill to play but the interest to do so through the whole life. The skills you learn with your instrument is also transparent to other parts of your life.

Nobody ever said I regret that I learned to play the cello.

For everyone who wants to make the sounds of the flute sound to his or her hand! Since the age of nine I have been playing the flute, mainly classical. In 2015 I came into contact with the Brazilian music style 'chorinho', which I immediately fell in love with. This music style is extremely rich in melodies and rhythms, and in my experience is a good and fun addition to the classical repertoire, also for ensemble playing. I attended the Conservatory of Classical Composition with flute as main instrument, and I went to Brazil twice to improve my chorinho playing. I like to help young and old to make playing the flute one of the best activities, at both hobby level and professional level!

Because I have a lot of experience making reeds, I can make and adjust your reeds to your maximal comfort.
