Maths and science are among the most useful topics in the world today. And yet, rather frustratingly, these topics remain rather incomprehensible for many students (with a good majority finding them extremely difficult)

With my sessions I do my best to make both maths and science as engaging and enjoyable as possible. The main goal is not just to overload students with information but also to try to gain some insight into the both topics - hopefully students will come out of lessons much better at science and with an appreciation for how weird and wonderful the world truly is

I teach primary school children from Year 2 upwards in Maths, English and in preparation for SATs in Year 6.
My resources are all current and up to date and relevant in today’s National Curriculum specification.
I have full access to the topics to be covered in each year group in Maths and am happy to mirror and match that which is being completed termly at school as well as focusing on more challenging topics. Each lesson will begin with Arithmetic questions for fluency.
Reading comprehensions and grammar will be taught according to what is required for each year group and finally with a focus on spelling, punctuation and grammar practise papers as will be completed during SATs. I cover a variety of comprehension style questions that are inline with SATs and will cover all the skills required including word meaning, retrieval and inference questions across non fiction, fiction and poetry examples.
