Despite having just graduated from university, I am an experienced composer and producer, having held the position of Musical Director for Youth Theatre Kenya since 2017.

I have composed 6 musicals, 5 of which have been performed, and I am currently working on another one. I have also composed music for independent films and documentaries.

Whether you want to write jazz, pop, rock, DnB, hip hop, etc., I will teach you! As well as the musical side of things, I will also help with lyricism, and how to make your words fit perfectly into your song.

Nothing can help a musician understand music better than music theory. Whether it be improvising over jazz chord progressions, writing a score to a film or even producing beats for rappers and singers, having a good understanding of music theory will make life a lot easier for you.

In this class I will teach you the parts of music theory you need for ABRSM, but also how to use it in your compositions or performances, a tool all musicians should have in their arsenal.

Instrument Tuition:

Very flexible approach, I will teach based on individual needs. Beginners will learn the basics of the guitar, basic chords, basic scales etc. And advanced players will learn more complex chords, intricate scales, harmonies and improvisation.

If you just want to learn how to play your favourite songs, then I will teach you how to do that. If you want to learn about song writing, I will teach you that. Anything and everything.

Logic Pro X:

Equally as flexible and I will adhere to individual needs, I may need to start from the very basics even for proficient users. I have many years of experience and I graduated from Manchester MIDI School as a specialist in Logic Pro X. I will explain, demonstrate and test students about each subject per lesson.

We will look at MIDI, editing, recording, compression, EQ, Mastering, mixing, time stretching, FX, plugins, remixing, audio design, sound manipulation and so on.
