I am a Research Master’s student in Philosophy at the KU Leuven from Toronto Canada. My native language is English and I also have background knowledge of French, however, I don’t speak it well. I teach private lessons on how to write essays in English in the Brussels and Leuven area.

My academic career has provided me with a high level of proficiency in understanding of language structure, syntax and grammar. As an editor-in-chief for a university graduate journal in philosophy for two years now, I have cultivated my writing and editing abilities and want to share with you how to easily write and structure papers in order to achieve high grades. My techniques on how to write the perfect paper work for all subject areas. I have experience working with adults and children of all ages and backgrounds.

I like to use different methods to teach French to students. It can be through songs, drama, role play or videos. I also very often use situations close to the student's experience, such as describing places they have been or talking about what they have experienced. At the same time, I teach the grammar rules to the student. I now live in regions where French has been spoken for over 30 years. Because I have learned French myself (and I am still learning other languages), I can easily put myself in a student's shoes. I can teach in French, Dutch, English, German and Russian.

Hello everyone! I hold a doctorate in Italian, have been teaching Italian for 5 years and hold a CELTA teaching qualification. I've been preparing students for the A-Levels and GCSE (language + literature). I can prepare you for specific examinations, language lessons in general or teach you Italian for business. The lessons are for everyone, whatever their age or level (children to adults). I will make sure that you discover the Italian culture through the lessons, learn the correct pronunciation and of course learn some grammar. Many people find it quite difficult to speak in front of groups. You may have heard the advice 'imagine everyone's in their underpants', but it didn't help (or you probably won't be reading this text).
Maybe you don't find public speaking all that difficult or scary, but you think you can get a lot more out of it.

I would like to help you become a better, more relaxed and open speaker. The coaching is completely tailored to your needs and needs, but we work, for example, on preparing, analyzing and/or writing a text, body posture and language, use of voice and empathy.

I was trained as an actress and singer, two subjects that give me a lot of baggage and inspiration when coaching public speaking. I have more than 8 years of experience as a coach and teacher.

At work, at home, at parties, and everywhere else, good communication is indispensable to be able to understand each other. A language is meant to be spoken and understood. The best way to understand a language is being exposed to it, whether through books, movies, songs or social media. In my classes, only motivation is required. During the first class, we explore your needs and what I can offer you. Outside and during my classes, you are your own teacher. The higher you expose yourself to the language, the quicker you'll master it. I am your coach who will guide you through it and give you some tools along with tips and tricks to master the basics. I am willing to help you as long as you need. If you want my help one hour for French and one hour for Dutch per week, or only 30 minutes/week for Dutch, that is up to you! Additionally, I offer group sessions of maximum 4 persons per session. It is your responsability to look for your classmates if that is something you are up to.
