British English language teacher from London, conversation and English games

My teaching approach is based on a communicative approach. As a teacher who is comfortable and has adopted a conversational teaching style, I work with children and pre teens mostly as I am currently working in a British school in Las rozas Madrid, conversation or a discussion, which involves the exchange of ideas, it encourages a higher level of understanding and learning. The communicative approach can be difficult for students who are accustomed to the more traditional or direct approach through lectures and assessments through exams. In the communicative approach, the answers of the real or daily life. Therefore, students are motivated to learn by being motivated to communicate meaningfully in their own significant ways.
Also I am available for teaching online or in person, I also do babysitting on weekends and evenings during the week I have over 5 years experience working with children from 0-10 years.

I love to tailor my classes based on my student's personality. I am good at reading people and understanding their capacity to digest what is being presented to them. Based on that my method changes and adapts to their abilities but mainly I love to keep it relevant, timely and trends related. It is good to use the surroundings to teach, it also helps the student engage and see how this language can be used. Fun and important fact, I was not born a native English speaker, I actually acquired the language and I do have a native level (American) English. I believe this enables me to be a good teacher to those who do not speak the language, or don't speeak it as well as a mother tongue, because unlike someone who was born speaking it, I know the keys to learning a language and sounding exactly like those who are native. This is mainly because when I learnt English I did not learn it as sounds, grammar and sayings. I learnt it as a culture. That is why I am often confused for a native speaker. This is what I want to give to my English students.

The course includes studies of various literary genres: short story, general topics of daily life and activities. The development of critical reading and writing skills is a major emphasis of the course.

I am a teacher with a lot of experience when it comes to teaching foreign students. I propose an individualized pedagogy, and I help both with the preparation of the exams and with the acquisition of fluency in the language. My goal is to move the student forward without overloading him, plus I give homework after each lesson and periodically provide student progress reports.
