This class is designed for children and beginners who want to start learning Italian in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment. As a native Italian speaker who grew up in Italy and now studies in the United States, I help students learn the language in a natural and clear way. Lessons focus on basic vocabulary, pronunciation, simple grammar, and conversation, using interactive activities, games, and real-life examples to keep students motivated and involved. Each lesson is adapted to the student’s age, level, and learning style, helping them build confidence while developing strong foundations in Italian. My goal is to make learning enjoyable while helping students feel comfortable speaking and understanding the language.

Hi! My name is Luca and I’m a native Italian speaker currently studying International Business at San Diego State University. I grew up in Italy and I enjoy helping students discover the Italian language and culture in a fun and engaging way.
I like to create lessons that are interactive, practical, and adapted to each student’s level. Whether a student is a beginner, preparing for the AP Italian exam, or simply wants to improve conversation skills, my goal is to make learning clear, enjoyable, and motivating. I especially enjoy working with kids and beginner learners, helping them build confidence while learning vocabulary, pronunciation, and basic grammar through conversation and interactive activities.
My background as a collegiate athlete and youth coach has helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to motivate students. I focus on creating a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable speaking and improving their Italian.

This class is designed for students who want to improve their Italian speaking skills and become more confident in conversation. As a native Italian speaker who grew up in Italy and now studies in the United States, I help students practice real-life communication in a relaxed and supportive environment. Lessons focus on fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary expansion, and natural conversation, using topics such as travel, culture, food, and everyday situations. Each lesson is adapted to the student’s level and goals so conversations feel engaging and productive. My background as a collegiate athlete and youth coach has helped me develop strong communication skills and patience when working with students. My goal is to help students speak more comfortably, improve their pronunciation, and sound more natural in Italian while enjoying the learning process.
This class is designed for students preparing for the AP Italian Language and Culture exam who want to strengthen their speaking, writing, listening, and reading skills. As a native Italian speaker who grew up in Italy and now studies in the United States, I understand both the language and the expectations of American students preparing for the AP exam. I also personally took the AP Italian exam and earned a score of 5, so I am familiar with the structure, timing, and strategies needed to succeed. Lessons focus on AP-style practice, vocabulary development, cultural topics, and strategies for each section of the exam, including conversation, essays, and interpretation of audio and written materials. I help students organize their answers clearly, improve pronunciation and fluency, and build confidence so they can perform at their best on exam day.
