Finally there is an international guitar school in Copenhagen where all students are not only learning how to play properly the guitar from a professional guitarist but also how to appreciate the meaning of the music and arts.

Students will also be prepared for professional music education. So whether the student wants to become a professional guitar player or play the guitar as a hobby, they will always learn a constructive way to play the guitar and perform with the instrument.

Lessons are open for everyone (children, teenagers, adults). The students are welcome to the lessons from the age of 6.
Carlos is currently working as a teacher in Copenhagen with his own music school, His students represent several nationalities.

Carlos has excellent motivation with his profession and he is driven to help his students to achieve their best. You will find him to be a positive, hard-working, down-to-earth person with a good sense of humor. He has very good communicational and interpersonal skills which enable him to discuss any matter of concern with the students and their parents.

About Carlos:
Carlos was born in 1985, in Bogotá, Colombia. He finished his bachelor studies in Bogotá (La pontificia Universidad Javeriana) under the guidance of Sonia Diaz in 2012. Since 2013 Carlos has been living and studying in Copenhagen, Denmark. He received his master´s diploma in classical guitar and pedagogy from the Royal Danish Academy of Music in January 2016 under the guidance of professors Jesper Sivebaek and Kristian Buhl-Mortensen. Besides classical guitar, Carlos has been studying and doing specialization on electric guitar with great guitar players and teachers such as Kiko Loureiro and Yiannis Papadopoulos.

Carlos has played several concerts both with classical and rock music projects in Colombia and different countries in Europe (France, Spain, Italy, Finland, Denmark, Germany)
Carlos is currently working as a performer with different music projects and as a guitar teacher in Copenhagen with his own music school (Barragan Guitar), online lessons and at the International School of Hellerup (Instrumental programme after school), His students represent several nationalities.

Besides classical guitar, Carlos has been studying and playing electric guitar and electro acoustic guitar for many years, playing several concerts with his rock bands Psychic Equalizer and Desarme, which tours not only in Colombia but also in different parts of Europe. Carlos has also participated in different music projects both recording in studios and playing live concerts such as: Música Improvisus among others.

Besides concerts Carlos offers also services playing background music for events and hotels in Copenhagen and other cities nearby.

This book describes a nice way of approaching improvisation through specific exercises that can be tested on students of any kind of level. It divides in 4 section and requires a minimum knowledge of scales, chords and familiarity with musical vocabulary

Hearing the Changes by jerry Cooker, Bob knapp, Larry Vincent, ed advance Music, for all musicians

With this book the student will learn how to recognize progressions by ear thanks on a selection of jazz tunes chosen from the standard repertoire. It will be taught at the piano and it will let students of any level to deal with harmony and theory progressively but starting codifying harmonic traits that will clarify the reader's understanding of how progressions and improvisation "work".

Aloha! I am a musician, i've been doing the conservatory of music in France and make music since more than 20 years now.
Yes i love music, and particularly guitar that i played for now 14 years and i am a singer as well.
I've been playing in bands and had my own band. Playing on scenes jams sessions and orchestras

I am proposing here a study in wich tha practice of the instrument and the theory of music will fusion in an understanding of the music.

The lessons are composed with rythmic exercises, harmonic practicing, the theory of music from basis with the understanding of the symbols and ponctuations used in partitions and tabulatures.

I have teaching experience for all ages, from beginners to advanced who want to improve. For beginner, I use the Suzuki method.

I also play the piano and viola and, can help for music theory.
