Hello!

I am a first year Geology undergraduate student studying at Imperial College London in the Department of Earth Sciences and Engineering. I am pursuing an integrated, four years, Bachelor's and Masters degree here.
I look forward to teaching as I am passionate for helping others learn and succeed not only academically but develop skills such as critical thinking, problem solving and time management which are essential in professional lives too. I enjoy sharing my expertise and learning strategies in particular subjects with other students struggling in them and boosting their confidence and academic performance while they help me improve my own knowledge and interpersonal skills.
I am very much familiar with the GCSE and A-level syllabus of Biology and Environmental Management. I believe in providing thorough understanding of a concept from the foundation level and building up on the knowledge according to the ease of the student, providing specific attention and help in difficult areas of study; using diagrams, online videos and lectures to explain the concept in a comprehensive manner. Moreover the students' progress will be monitored and tracked through short weekly assessments based on past paper questions allowing the student to be comfortable with the exam-style questions and avoid falling for the exam pressure.

Présentation
I am a first-year Geology undergraduate student studying at Imperial College London in the Department of Earth Sciences and Engineering. I am pursuing an integrated, four-year, Bachelor's and Master's degrees here. I have done my GCSE O-levels and A-levels from Pakistan and have achieved 11A*s, 1A in GCSEs, and 3A*s, 2As in my A-levels.

I am working as a part-time tutor at Apprentus as I am passionate about helping others learn and succeed not only academically but also develop skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management which are essential in professional lives. I enjoy sharing my expertise and learning strategies in particular subjects with other students struggling with them and boosting their confidence and academic performance while they help me improve my own knowledge and interpersonal skills.

I am able to teach the GCSE O-level academic syllabus in a very comprehensive and interactive manner, tailoring my classes according to the student's needs. I have prior experience of interacting with children of that age group during my time as a member of the executive student council during my O-levels and A-levels and managing Science Olympiads and exhibitions during high school. I have an informal teaching experience as a peer mentor for my juniors during high school, giving them guidance and feedback on their tests, and giving them tips and resources to learn and improve their understanding of the subject.

In my classes the students will be a part of an interactive session of solving time-sensitive short questions as a brainstorming exercise, proceeding with covering topics from the start of the syllabus, solving questions as we move on and understanding the difficult level that the student is easily able to pass. This will be followed by recognising the topics that the student is finding difficult and then explaining them through short lectures and diagrams, helping the student have a better grasp at the concepts. I will ensure constant feedback after each of my classes to understand the students problems and tailoring my lessons according to that. Moreover the students' progress will be monitored and tracked through short weekly assessments based on past paper questions allowing the student to be comfortable with the exam-style questions and avoid falling for the exam pressure. Between each lesson, exercises are given and then corrected in order to follow the evolution of progress.
Finally, I will anticipate the lessons of the school program, so that when the teacher starts a new chapter in class, the student already has a first apprehension of the course before the other students, allowing him to have more understanding and ease.


In the year 2021, 100% of my final year students passed their bac (A Levels), 60% of them with honours or very good. Many have gone on to enter top business and engineering schools.

Courses are available for all levels from secondary school to high school.


As far as my background is concerned, I first studied medicine and then went on to study engineering in the field of civil engineering.
After graduating with a Master's degree, I went on to teach in a private secondary school in France, where I am perfectly familiar with the new secondary school programmes.


I am contractually committed to results.
