If you or your kids would like to learn playing the piano using an alternative method where we costumise the curriculum to your interests and needs, I would be very happy to get in touch with you and tell you more. I have been a professional jazz musician my whole life and lived in Dubai for 8 years where I worked as an artist and educator. I have worked for Gems Education (private school chain) teaching kids from all around the world but I also teach adults with different levels of knowledge.
If playing the piano is something that you always wanted to try but never had the chance than wait no more. My philosophy is that you don’t have to be a pro to enjoy playing your favourite songs. We create goals together and I’ll show you the quickest ways to get there while fully understanding the theory behind it. That’s the foundation of my teaching. The goal for this class is for You to be able to improvise and fit in into any music group as a Keyboardist/Pianist, being able to accompany singers or other instrumentalists, and being able to play by your own as well.

I'm going to introduce You to a lot of improvisational concepts rooting from the jazz world, applicable for all genres.

We will work on:

- Solo Piano
- Accompany Singers
- Playing in Bands of different lineup
- Understanding difference between classic Keyboard Instruments (Synths, Hammond Organ, Rhodes, Wurli, Piano)
- Walking bass
- Stylistic Trademarks
- Improvising in Different Time Feels
- Learning Repertoire
- Composing/Arranging/Songwriting tips
- Reharmonization excercises
- Understanding voice leading and harmonic movements
- Improvisation tools
- Reading
- Learning and making Transcriptions
