I am a Vietnamese native (born and raised in Hanoi) who has lived in the UK for 2 years, and now in my 8th year living in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I am currently working full-time at an international Dutch company and tutoring Vietnamese is my favorite hobby!

This class will introduce you to various aspects of the Vietnamese alphabet, grammar, and spelling. I will also provide speaking practice at the end of every class. This class is designed for those of you who are interested in the Vietnamese language, as well as Vietnamese culture.

New vocabulary for each topic will be discussed. My study background is in Mathematics and Statistics, thus with the combination of languages you can expect 'a bit' of reasoning logic behind all lessons I give (which I think gives some structure to the lessons as well)!

In 2023, I've obtained a Master degree in Linguistics at the University of Amsterdam. I've achieved the C1+ levels in English, on the CEFR scale. I have 2 years of experience living in London, where I acquired RP (received pronunciation) and 7 years of experience in the International Academia (Amsterdam). My linguistic background gives me the capacity to explain the sounds and various processes of the language, from a perspective many natives do not know. In teaching, I practice the holistic approach. It is my belief that language is for people of every age and education, but I'm aware that everyone deserves a personal approach. In the first session, we always do a needs analysis and become acquainted, to make sure we click as people and will enjoy working away at your personal language goals.

Merhaba! I am an enthusiastic teacher who has been teaching Turkish for foreigners and children whose native language is Turkish but need to improve it. I always motivate my students to do their best and to speak in French during class. I always give homework to practice writing skills.
From B1 level we talk about news and culture, my lessons are always concrete and goal oriented. Repetition is also part of my lessons, so that students can learn new material with confidence.
Finally I also offer Delft exam training from A1 to B2 levels - a diploma that is required for many Hotel Schools and also to be able to work and study in French-speaking countries.
