My name is Kelly, and I give piano lessons at home for all ages from 7 years and from every level! I am specialized in classical music, but I can also help with other musical styles. I have experience in both implementation and coaching, and I also have experience in teaching one-to-one. Furthermore, I teach music history and music theory.

I am a clarinet and piano player with 11 years of experience in classical music and improvisation. I can teach clarinet and bass clarinet at any level and piano to amateurs or beginners until a certain level. I am used to international environments (I lived in Denmark and Germany too) and I am currently learning Dutch. I had experiences in teaching music both to kids (from 10 years old) and adults.

My main goal, apart from teaching the technique, theory and repertoire, is to show students how much joy music can bring to their life and to let them expand their own musical ideas. STRUCTURE BY LEVEL

Beginner*
I have got my own techniques of teaching kids (lots of colors, shapes, children songs), as well as adult beginners. What’s most important in this stage is to let the student enjoy the sound of the piano, and be satisfied and motivated after a lesson. Together we will work on a certain repertoire that will help you improve your technique and hearing skills, develop your musical knowledge and creativity.

Intermediate*
With students of this level, we will work more on perfecting the harmony, technique, and transcription. You will learn how to improvise a more challenging repertoire that requires the practice of both technique and music analysis.

Advanced*
Depending on your goal, I am going to help you develop a certain part of your piano playing. We are going to dive into details of harmony (jazz harmony), improvisational skills, compositional skills, stage skills and more.

*Classes can be tailored to your needs and particular areas of interest if needed.

My name is Teis. I am a Danish guitarist trained in Jazz music at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and USC Thornton School of Music (Los Angeles). I have played since age 7, studied since age 13, and played professionally since age 18.

I work professionally as a band leader, composer, and side person.

After around 25 years of experience on the guitar, I can confidently say that I am equipped to share the knowledge that I have accumulated over the years.

In all honesty: I have never found myself to be particularly "talented". But I am a hard worker. I truly believe that talent is not something you are born with, but something you can develop and grow.

Together we will explore secrets and tips for a healthy guitar routine. We will improve your technique and ear training abilities with direct and fun exercises.

Whether you are just a beginner or an intermediate/advanced guitarist, we can explore the instrument and all its possibilities.

Practicing and playing with a teacher in a one-on-one situation is the most effective way to get better faster, and I advise it to all the guitar and music lovers out there.

Single lesson: We go from where you are at the moment, and I help you move forward.

We will build a sustainable practice routine together, and you will get access to a library of practice play-alongs and manuals, that you can use to build a solid platform as a musician!

There is a Chinese proverb that says, “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” In my classes, I try to get my students to think so that in the future they will not have to rely on others to make their own choices when playing a piece.

- HEALTHY HABITS
Musicians can get hurt if they are not careful, so it is important to have good posture, efficient technique and study method.

- ENJOY
Music should be all about enjoyment. And in lessons too! I like to think I have a good sense of humor, so laughter is guaranteed during lessons too.

- PERSONALIZATION
Teaching is not “one size fits all”. That is why I adapt my lessons for each type of student. Duration, methodology, price and planning are determined based on the student’s needs.

I am a professional musician, teacher, a violinist ( Master Degree with the honour of Moscow and Amsterdam conservatory) with more than 20 years of teaching experience. I taught for more than ten years in the Moscow Central Music school: later for many years in Moscow and Amsterdam conservatory, last years specialised in tutoring for ABRSM violin and theory exams.
I strongly believe that studying music, playing the violin makes an enormous difference for the developing of human brains, no mate which level you succeed and how old are you.
My lessons are rich in knowledge and diverse that you won't feel how time will fly in an exciting learning process.

In the Singelkerk in Amsterdam I teach on the beautiful church organ and on the beautiful Bösendorfer grand piano. Everyone (young and old, every level) is welcome! Enjoying playing the piano or organ is only possible with a good basic technique. I am happy to help you develop your playing.

My name is Nikolina (Nika) and I have 14 years long experience in classical music. I studied piano for 10 years, and solo singing for 4 years. I have attended many piano masterclasses and won several awards in international competitions in Croatia. I give piano lessons at your home, to all ages, with a preference for English communication. A pre-requisite: having a piano or synthesizer at home. Have you never played the piano? Don't worry! I am very happy to teach people from scratch and tailor lessons to each individual needs. I’ve been playing guitar since I was 12 and was immediately hooked. Within a year I started playing in youth bands and projects, and during high school I moved to a music school where I began performing with bands and teaching guitar to kids as my first job. I later completed two bachelor’s degrees, the second in jazz guitar, at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Since then I’ve been working full time as a session guitarist, songwriter, and musical director with artists like Karsu, Alain Clark, Ruth Jacott, Jennie Lena, and many others, as well as releasing my own music as an independent artist under my stage name Jessy Hay. I’m extremely passionate about music theory, ear training, and music history, and I try to combine all of these with practical approaches to create a complete package for guitar enthusiasts.

Over the years I’ve developed many methods and seen hundreds of students grow from being stuck on the instrument to becoming full-on improvisers and composers across many genres. I love to combine the theory and improvisation I’ve learned from jazz, together with the groove and rhythm from funk and soul, the attitude from rock, and the production and songwriting skills from pop music. I’m also very interested in Middle Eastern music, for students who want to explore other scales, Maqams, and musical languages. Lessons usually start by discussing the student’s goals and current level, followed by exercises and pieces tailored to their needs.
