Hi. My name is Alex.
I'm a french teacher (native). I moved from Paris to Istanbul about 5 years ago and I've been teaching online and face to face ever since.
I can introduce you to this beautiful langage as much as I can help you to achieve a specific level or to prepare an exam like the Delf/Dalf for example.
But learning french is not easy and it requires personal practice as well. I recommend 2 hours of lessons minimum for beginners.
I can adapt the method to the age of my students.

How easy will it be ?
It will not. French isn't known to be an easy language to learn and especially the spelling and the grammar can be tricky. The fact that there is no specific genre in Turkish make it a little more difficult when it comes to learn the vocabulary. Because, yes, a chair is feminine an a knife is masculine in french 😅

How long does it take ?
It depends on how much you're willing to invest time to practice. Typically, A1 level requires about 100 hours of work. A2 level will requires at least 200 hours and you can double it up to level C2...
So if you take 2 or 3 lessons per week, you can achieve level A2 in about a year... If you work regularly.

Nowadays, languages have become an important thing in the society and an added value in the work field. In my classes, I'll try to teach them the basics of each language by focusing on grammar ( english tenses , prepositions of time and place.... )and vocabulary. Here is the pathway we will follow in our lessons!
We will start our lessons by learning the most basic skills such as correct pronunciation and simple grammar rules.
We will continue to improve our speaking, listening and grammar levels by learning new informations step by step.
Based on my 13 years of experience, I think that A1 level is a very important period in language learning. When learning any language, beginner level students should learn it in the correct order and important details should be explained well by practising previous ones. Students at more advanced levels, such as A2, B1 or above, also need to practice their skills at the previous level thoroughly to improve their language skills. I try to provide good teaching by paying attention to these important points in my lessons. I keep our lessons' notes in a word file. After our lessons, I send you back all the additional notes and exercises that we covered in our lesson as a Word file.
