I have 2 years of teaching experience, teaching in both South Africa and in Greece. I've worked with students of all ages, English levels and learning abilities. I focus on improving students' grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary and general conversational skills. I am also equipped and experienced with preparing students for official English exams such as the CAE, CPE and ECPE.

My teaching method is more direct and I focus a lot on conversational and written teaching to help you develop ALL of your English skills at once with minimal effort. I combine visual, auditory and kinesthetic elements to stimulate every single type of learner. I like making learning English fun by ensuring my lesson plans are catered for individual students' specific interests and goals!

I am patient, caring and kind and able to build positive relationships with students in order to ensure the best learning experience available. I am knowledgeable about the different learners and different learning styles so I'm capable of catering to all my lessons to specific student's goals and interests. I enjoy keeping students engaged and making my lessons fun!

I am familiar with a variety of training methods that can help students learn quicker and more efficiently, based on the specific needs of the students. I also have the teaching skills to put together quizzes and games to gauge how well the students are learning.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next.

When it comes to the alphabet, words and sentences, it's more or less the same, but school pedagogy, school textbooks and regular lessons still follow the rote learning approach. In the lessons I propose, you will learn to use patterns because this is more efficient and faster.

Learning is easy, but unlearning bad habits is extremely difficult. This makes it all the more important to learn the right reflexes as early as possible.
