In my experience teaching, I have found that each student has their unique way of learning, therefore I create custom lesson plans that focus on the areas that need improvement, presenting it in a fun and interactive way. During the first session I like to get to know your goals, interests, and current level, which will determine the approach we take in creating a personal curriculum. With test preparation, I not only go over how to solve problems or the solutions, but I go into detail on how to use time effectively, necessary skills that you need in order to get that high score, and little tips and tricks to make the test work to your advantage.
