English is the most commonly spoken language in the world which means that you will meet a lot of people you would want to or have to converse in English. If you are an adult, and searching for a job, learning English can increase your chances of getting hired in your country or abroad. If you love travelling, speaking English will make your life much easier. If you are retired, develop a new passion of learning a foreign language. I am an Indian by origin, and I speak four different languages including French. English is not my mother-tongue but I speak almost as good as a native speaker.
