Writing effectively in English is a skill that will benefit you throughout your career—and in your personal life as well. This course covers reports, emails, presentations, proposals and other business communications based on relevant samples as well as real-world projects you have to produce for work. The emphasis is on clearly saying what you mean and giving your audience the information they need, in vivid phrasing that keeps them reading and responsive. Write Like You Mean It! will appeal most to students that already have a good grasp of English and wish to reach a professional level in their writing. Note: The instructor is used to working with nonnative speakers of English, particularly in Japan.
