I am a professional language teacher and published author and editor of teaching materials with more than eight years of experience in education. My background is in English (BA), Language Acquisition and Teaching (MA) and Educational Technology (MSc). Over the years, I have gained valuable experiences teaching teenagers and adults in-class at international and bilingual schools and privately, both on-site and online. Additionally, I have contributed to textbooks and e-learning courses for different audiences, from beginners to university students.
I offer Dutch language classes for all levels and purposes (general language acquisition, test preparation, business or academic language use). My lessons are very student driven; the content of our lessons will depend on what you wish to achieve. I tailor my lessons and homework to your goals and interests to make your language learning experience not only a success, but more importantly, enjoyable and motivating.
I see language use as a tool, not a goal in itself. I will use media and materials about your topics of interest to practice a specific language topic.

About Me
My heart is not just in teaching, but in all aspects of education. Over the last 8 years I have worked as a (private) language teacher, test developer, textbook author and editor, and e-learning author. I have taught beginners to advanced learners, teenagers and adults. As a teacher, I enjoy combining the knowledge and skills I have acquired to create learning plans and content for students.
