That’s why my teaching is tailored not only to your objectives and goals but also on your personality and own personal needs. I also love to use anecdotes and give a lot of insight about culture simply because it makes things way more alive and interesting.

My name is Alyssa, I am passionate about traveling and discovering new horizons. I currently live in France but I am originally from South America.
I speak three languages fluently and have a good knowledge of Portuguese and Spanish. I have learned a lot from different cultures and this is largely due to my language skills. This is also one of the reasons why I want to share my knowledge of languages with others, so I decided to make it my profession.
After obtaining my two degrees in foreign languages, I started to teach English and Dutch in order to finance my future Master's degree in interpreting.

Based on my 13 years of experience, I think that A1 level is a very important period in language learning. When learning any language, beginner level students should learn it in the correct order and important details should be explained well by practising previous ones. Students at more advanced levels, such as A2, B1 or above, also need to practice their skills at the previous level thoroughly to improve their language skills. I try to provide good teaching by paying attention to these important points in my lessons. I keep our lessons' notes in a word file. After our lessons, I send you back all the additional notes and exercises that we covered in our lesson as a Word file.
