About Me

Hello! I will briefly tell you a little bit about myself so that you know who you are choosing as your teacher. My name is Daniela and I am 22 years old. I am originally from Enschede but will be studying at the university in Leiden in the coming year. The past four years I studied HBO Applied Psychology and for that I obtained my diploma this year! Besides school I like to spend time with friends, I like to play football and cook and I also love to travel.

Now you know a little bit about myself as a person and now you know a little bit about myself as a teacher. I'm pretty fluent in the English language. I lived in America for three years and went to school there. In addition, I did vwo in high school in my first four years where I also had Cambridge English. This is a higher level of English for which you also have to take an official test for a diploma. I obtained my diploma for this subject with a B. Furthermore, during my time in Spain for my minor I followed a course where I learned how to teach English to people who are not native speakers. I would describe myself as a fun, creative teacher, but also serious when needed.

Furthermore, I can also help you with plans and organization, but also with motivation problems because of my background in psychology. I tailor my lessons to the person sitting across from me so I like to communicate with my students to find out what they like and what they don't like. I also lived in America and went to school there for 3 years. Last but not least, I did HAVO (second highest level in the Netherlands) in high school and I completed English with a 9/10 and received a 10/10 for my oral exam.
