Over mij:
Mijn naam is Christian, afgestudeerd in scheikunde aan de Universiteit Utrecht (Biomolecular Sciences) en gepromoveerd in ontwikkelingsbiologie (PhD). Al meerdere jaren geef ik bijles en examentraining in wiskunde, scheikunde en natuurkunde aan HAVO- en VWO-leerlingen, maar ook aan HBO-studenten, International Baccalaureate, Cambridge International A-levels. Misschien kan ik jou ook verder helpen!

Hoe geef ik les?
De lessen zijn volledig online, maar ik zorg voor een persoonlijke en interactieve aanpak. Met een stift en whiteboard creëer ik een sfeer die vergelijkbaar is met privéles bij je thuis. Iedereen leert op zijn eigen manier en heeft unieke doelen; daarom pas ik mijn aanpak aan jouw behoeften aan. Ik ben betrokken, optimistisch en zorg voor een veilige leeromgeving waarin je je op je gemak voelt. Tijdens de lessen merk ik vaak dat leerlingen niet alleen de stof beter begrijpen, maar ook hun zelfvertrouwen groeit.

Waarom exacte vakken leuker zijn dan je denkt:
Naast mijn werk als bijlesdocent ben ik parttime kunstenaar (schilder en muzikant). Mijn creatieve achtergrond brengt een frisse en enthousiaste kijk op exacte vakken. Het kan zijn dat je exacte vakken nu als zwaar, moeilijk of saai ervaart, of dat je pech hebt gehad met een docent die het plezier erin niet kon overbrengen. Maar geloof me: zodra je de stof beter begrijpt, wordt het leuker en haal je ook betere cijfers.

In 2006 heb ik mijn master scheikunde (Biomolecular Sciences) behaald aan de Universiteit Utrecht. Vervolgens heb ik gewerkt als promovendus binnen de afdeling ontwikkelingsbiologie aan dezelfde universiteit en in 2012 mijn doctoraat (PhD) behaald.
