As a teacher, I believe in guiding students along the path they've chosen for themselves. My lessons are student-centered, focusing on their unique strengths and interests. I always aim to create an environment where we learn together, rather than me simply talking at them. Humor plays a big role in my teaching—I enjoy using jokes and lighthearted moments to make learning more enjoyable. For me, it's about connecting with my students, not just instructing them.

Currently, I'm pursuing a Masters in Educational Needs, with a focus on behavior and autism. My background includes a degree teaching qualification in Economics, as well as hands-on experience in project management through the Inter-American Development Bank. I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.

Each class is tailored to the individual's requirements and/or needs. Want to improve career opportunities; learn or improve business Dutch, which will be the focus of each class.

2021-2022:
I worked at "bijlesthuis," a Dutch tutoring institution, where I primarily taught French, Dutch, and English to adult learners seeking to improve their language skills. During the same period, I also provided classes to other students through Apprentus.

2021:
Through Apprentus and other websites, I assisted several younger students (ages 5-15) in Bern and Geneva, helping them improve their skills in subjects such as Maths and French.

2017-2020:
I worked for three years at a tutoring institution in Geneva called ARA, where I primarily taught French, Mathematics, and English.

During this time, I also spent two years working at a private school called Florimont, where I supported students aged 11-16 across various subjects by assisting them with their homework.

I can teach French, Dutch, and English, Spanish and in German, and I thoroughly enjoy teaching and assisting students in their progress and acquisition of new skills.
