Bonjour ! Je m'appelle Juliette. I'm a French student who graduated from the Sorbonne and I came to Amsterdam (UvA) to continue my studies. I'm well experienced with teaching as I teach private lessons for middle and high-schoolers since I'm 14.
I'm a language lover. I obviously know french very well since it's my mother tongue, but I'm also fluent in english.

Frans is een prachtige taal. Of het nu gaat om reizen, uitwisseling met Fransen, of om de cultuur van dit unieke land beter te begrijpen, je zult alleen maar profiteren van het leren van een nieuwe taal, vooral Frans omdat "wij" overal op deze aardbol zijn haha

Ik kan u basiskennis geven, maar ook meer gevorderd advies en oefeningen om uw Frans te verbeteren. Voor de meest gevorderden denk ik dat de beste manier om de taal onder de knie te krijgen is om elke keer een ander onderwerp te bespreken en daar zoveel mogelijk over te debatteren (met een paar aantekeningen parallel om te verbeteren natuurlijk)!

Mijn naam is Valérie. Als moedertaalspreker Frans en Nederlands en afgestudeerd als tolk Frans/Nederlands geef ik al jaren met veel plezier taalcursussen Frans aan allerlei soorten studenten.

De lessen worden in het Frans gegeven en zijn vooral gericht op het spreken van de taal. Ze zijn dan ook praktijkgericht. De lessen zijn op maat omdat ik tijdens de eerste les de wensen en doelen van de leerlingen volg.

Ik vind het belangrijk dat de leerling plezier ervaart in het leren van de taal, het is en blijft een manier van communiceren!

There isn't a better way to teach your child a new language than through playing. My job is to introduce the English, French, or Arabic language while your child is discovering and learning to make sense of the world around them. Through play, children have more capacity to develop linguistic, social, and communication skills, and gain the self-confidence they need.
My job is to play with the child while using the new language vocabulary; as an example, we can play the Zoo game and learn the names of the animals, the noise they make, the food they consume, and where they live in the wild.
While we play, we can use toys, pictures, songs, videos, and house objects such as fruits and vegetables.
We can play inside or outside in a safe environment.
I have a program that I developed to help my child learn a language and have fun at the same time. It consists of games, reading books, and role-playing in different themes such as ( Food, Animals, Numbers, Alphabet, Colors, Geography, Nature, Technology, Outfits... )
This program can be discussed and edited by the parent according to their child's needs and level.

Learning languages are always more fun when involving an interaction based on personal interests! That's why I could take a more conventional approach to teaching but I prefer an interactive engaging type of class. We can start with basic daily life based conversations to delving into more detailed and specific contexts, to a level where any types of topics can be covered.
I would encourage students and myself to only converse in the language that is being taught. But I could still provide explanation and guidance in either Korean or English!
