My name is Michal.
My journey with Japanese started taking a serious course when I chose to study Japanology 🇯🇵🗻🎎 at a university back in my home country Poland.
During my studies, I had the privilege of living and working in the depths of Hokkaido mountains in the North of Japan ⛰️❄️🏂, which was a major boost to my Japanese language skills 🇯🇵
After that the winds of life have steered my ship to Belgium where I studied Japanology as Erasmus student at Gent University 🇧🇪
Thanks to these experiences, I have had the opportunity to start working as a Japanese translator, gaining 6 years of experience in the field.

Currently I mainly play the role of 'Support' in the game. If you are wondering what that exactly means, you are in the right place because we will certainly discuss this! My goal is to guide completely new people, who have recently heard of the e-sports phenomenon, to a place where they can stand on their own feet. Parents who see their children playing League of Legends and who want to share in this environment are certainly welcome. Finally, people who already have experience, but want to improve their game, I will gladly challenge.

Of het nu les is aan anderstaligen, bijles voor jongeren. Ik help je er graag doorheen. Frans is mijn tweede taal. Bereid je er wel op voor om wat taken te krijgen. Indien interesse, laat weten met welk project je hulp nodig hebt en we kijken samen voor de gepaste oplossing.

Through these sessions I try to teach the student in question in a positive way how to study in various ways and how to encourage and motivate oneself to do so.
Studying does not go without saying, but requires mental preparation and motivation, once you have mastered these two aspects, you are already much further and you are ready to master learning step by step on an independent basis, and in that process where you really 'learns to learn' I would very much like to help you with that.
I myself am a law student at KULeuven, where I have to learn great suits, but by applying the right way and having the right motivation everything works.
Where there's a will there is a way.

Ik geef sinds kort bijles Spaans om mijn studies te betalen. Ik heb 3 jaar in Argentinië gewoond en een diploma bedrijfsvertaler-tolk. Taal is mijn passie en ik vind het fantastisch om mensen het beetje bij beetje aan te leren. Ik geloof dat iedereen een taal kan leren als er maar motivatie is. Goede studievaardigheden komen van pas voor elk vak en neem je mee voor later. Daarom is het ook cruciaal om een efficiënte individuele studiemethode te ontwikkelen. Elke leerling is anders en leert op een andere manier. Daarom ben ik er om iedere student/cursist te helpen zijn maximaal potentieel te bereiken. Ik reik verschillende tools en leerstrategieën aan om een studiemethode te ontwikkelen die voor jou werkt.
