Het doel van mijn lessen is dat je in de toekomst onder elke omstandigheid open, zelfverzekerd, met plezier en vol fantasie en aanbod leer spelen en met een tekst leert omgaan. Of je nou in een voorstelling speelt, een lied moet zingen, op een set staat of auditie doet.

Ik hanteer niet één specifieke techniek of methode; ik geloof dat je als performer je eigen, op maat gemaakte gereedschapskist met verschillende tools moet samenstellen om jouw unieke talent te ondersteunen. Daar gaan wij samen aan werken. Door deze insteek zijn de lessen geschikt voor ieder niveau!

De tekst is in mijn les het uitgangspunt. Ik werk met bestaande monologen, dialogen, liedjes, filmscènes, sketches etc. Je mag zelf materiaal aandragen of ik kies het voor je uit. We kunnen ook aan specifieke audities/selftapes of optredens werken; alles is mogelijk.

Mijn naam is David, ik ben 32 jaar, woon in Amsterdam en ben sinds 2015 werkzaam als acteur en zanger. Ik geef graag les omdat ik het leuk vind om over acteren te praten en kennis uit te wisselen.

Bildung

Ik heb de Amsteramse Toneelschool en Kleinkunstacademie afgerond in 2015. Daar ben ik heel allround opgeleid en heb daardoor kennis op veel verschillende gebieden.

Erfahrung / Qualifikationen

Ik ben zelf professioneel acteur en heb praktijkervaring. Na mijn opleiding heb ik bij verschillende gerenommeerde toneelgezelschappen gewerkt, o.a. bij het Noord Nederlands Toneel, het Zuidelijk Toneel, Jeugdtheater Sonnevanck, het Amsterdamse BosTheater, Theater Rast, Frascati en Bellevue Lunchtheater. Ook ben ik te zien (geweest) in muziektheatervoorstellingen van o.a. Ruut Weissman en Spinvis en op televisie (o.a. Treurteevee, Klokhuis).

- Extend your range to at least 3 octaves (sometimes even 4!)
- Breath control and control of your entire range.
- Sing in a variety of techniques and styles- become a versatile singer!

My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education.
My experience runs mostly in early and chamber music, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals.
As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborated with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs.

My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music.

Singers like Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, and Frank Sinatra have left an indelible mark on American popular music through their jazz vocal stylings, fusing a conversational delivery with rhythmic and melodic improvisation. This course is tailored for each student to teach the unique characteristics of jazz singing and how to apply these characteristics to create your own sound. You will learn jazz phrasing, how to integrate good technique into jazz song styles, and how to sing with a number of time feels and grooves.

The course focuses on jazz vocal technique and delivery, including use of vocal inflections, dynamics, articulation, and interpretation, and how to improvise through rhythmic and melodic phrasing. The course then will go deeper into jazz improvisation expanding the musical vocabulary of scat studying syllabels, rhythm, and melodic ideas.

In this course we will apply these concepts to jazz tunes in various tempos and grooves, including ballads, medium swing, fast swing, and bossa nova. You'll move on to learn important considerations for effective stage presence and use of the microphone, too.

Imparto clases de canto, de piano, de sensibilisación/introducción a la música y solfeo.

Vivo en Madrid y soy estudiante de Grado Superior en Canto (Jazz y Musica Moderna). Dedico una buen parte de mi tiempo a la enseñanza (musical y linguistica) en formato de clases particulares en linea o en casa.

Empezé a dar clases particulares a domicilio a niñxs cuando vivia en Alemania. Durante el curso academico 22-23 dí clases de piano a alumnxs de todas edades en la Escuela de musica RedMusik (Igualada, Cataluña).
Estudié el piano y otros instrumentos durante mas de 15 años en la UGDA y en el Conservatorio de Musica de la Ciudad de Luxemburgo. Después de muchos años de solfeo y piano obtuve el certificado de „Première Mention“ del Conservatorio, con la calificación "Très Bien".

Una buena clase de música debe incluir no solamente la ténica o la lectura de partituras, sino también el estudio teorico y armonico, la improvisación, el juego recreativo con el instrumento, ejercicios de audición y de ritimica. Me interesa diseñar la clase de manera creativa y adaptada a las necesidad y los deseos del/de la alumnx.

Puede realizarse en acompañamiento de padres o acudientes. Debating (or mooting in the legal sphere) is a way of orally presenting and defending arguments on a set topic. To do well, a participant needs a range of skills - from being able to speak clearly and concisely to being able to quickly analyse the argument of the opposing side and come up with a counter in a matter of minutes. Debating takes a lot of intelligence and a lot of preparation, but there is no better feeling than the triumph of having defended your position with facts and logic.

In this class, I will take you through all the basics of debating. For example, we will talk about (and practice) how to effectively introduce, explain and defend a position as well as what to do when presented with a dissenting view. I will explain, using the exercises I designed while teaching debating internationally, what makes a strong argument, introducing you to the world of logics. I will also use my experience participating in and coaching teams for debating competitions such as the prestigious international Herbert Smith Freehills Competition Law Moot to teach you to think like a debater and to captivate the attention of judges and other listeners with impeccable advocate-like presentation manner, outperforming the opposition both on content and on style.

I'm Leila, a French-Austrian opera singer, trained in France and Germany.
