Spanish is the world's second-most spoken language. Therefore, learning it and being able to, at least, understand the most basics is indeed essential! This class is for either beginner students, advanced students or for people that want to improve their vocabulary and speaking skills! I assign homework after every lesson and provide progress reports.

Hola hola! Do you need to go to some Spanish country to learn some previous knowledge of Spanish? Do you want to surprise that person with your new abilities of Spanish??

So you have found the right person! I am a Master Student at the UvA with proficiency certificates both in Spanish, Catalan! I am flexible, enjoyable, and you will learn a lot with me! The lessons will be taught in Spanish, whatever level you have! And of course, we will have some extra material to go up with the reading and grammar!

After some lessons, you will also learn how to learn Spanish :)

Bildung

I studied in the faculty of Philosophy and Letters in Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (BA Musicology), and now I am coursing an MA in the Humanities Faculty of the University of Amsterdam. Apart from that, I have certificates of both languages and have taken courses of compared literature of Spanish and Catalan language.

Being a native speaker from Barcelona, Spain I will teach you important vocabulary and grammar, as well as how to talk Spanish until you sound like a native!
For me it's very important to have engaging and fun classes, so you get to feel how amazing studying Spanish really is! We will talk a lot, play games, write recipes (and maybe we can even make them)! Anything fun you can think of, we will do, but in Spanish!

Always wanted to learn Spanish, but the regular lessons go too fast and/or it doesn't stick, then follow these tailor-made lessons.

Why class for 40+, because we have learned from our own experience how difficult it is to learn another language later in life and that most books/courses are based for younger students.

All lessons are adapted to your individual needs and speed.

You do not need to purchase any books, all materials will be delivered by email. This is because we work with several books and in this way we can offer a lot of learning material and thus make the learning material varied (and also rehearse more often if necessary.)

There is no minimum or maximum number of lessons, you are the one who determines the frequency. Of course you can also do these lessons with your partner.

Lessons are given online via Skype and last 1.5 hours at a time.
Lessons can be given during the day or in the evening.

I simply like to do it and enjoy helping people of all ages either to start talking or reaching a good level. I use grammar books but also online exercises or games on paper depending on the needs and profile of the student.

Learn Spanish in a realistic way. We need to constantly assess our current level so that I can speak naturally the next day. I've taken on practical tasks that have helped me become independent and achieve my goal of winning over 500 million Spanish companies in a year.

We explore the many diverse cultures of the Spanish world: music, traditions, customs, and more. To give you time to use videos, images, podcasts, and other cool material, you need more than just an adventure and an explanation for your work.
