Hi there! I’m Sara. I’m from Spain, and I teach Spanish online. Spanish is my native language, but I’m also bilingual in English and have an intermediate level of French.

I discovered this passion in 2022 while living in the United States. I am now based in Europe, but since then, I have worked with over 50 students of all levels, helping them achieve a wide variety of goals: from moving to a Spanish-speaking country or preparing for job interviews to improving academic grades or simply becoming fluent in conversation.

For me, it’s essential that you enjoy the learning process. That’s why I design dynamic sessions that don’t just focus on theory, but also encourage critical thinking and cultural immersion.

In addition to being a teacher, I am a psychologist specializing in clinical practice and Human Resources. This background allows me to better understand your learning processes and create a supportive environment where you feel confident speaking. Regarding my method, I don't follow standardized textbooks. I create my own materials and practical activities, which I share in a personalized folder just for you. We will use real-world resources so that, from minute one, you are learning the Spanish you will actually use.

¡Hola! Soy Sara, soy de España y enseño español de forma online. El español es mi lengua materna, pero además soy bilingüe en inglés y tengo un nivel intermedio de francés.

Descubrí esta pasión en 2022 mientras vivía en Estados Unidos. Ahora vivo en Europa, pero desde entonces, he trabajado con más de 50 estudiantes de todos los niveles, ayudándoles a alcanzar metas muy variadas: desde mudarse a un país hispanohablante o preparar entrevistas de trabajo, hasta mejorar sus notas académicas o simplemente conversar con fluidez.

Para mí es esencial que disfrutes del proceso de aprendizaje. Por eso, diseño sesiones dinámicas que no solo se centran en la teoría, sino que fomentan el pensamiento crítico y la inmersión cultural.

Además de profesora, soy psicóloga especializada en clínica y recursos humanos. Esta experiencia me permite entender mejor tus procesos de aprendizaje y crear un entorno de confianza para que te sientas seguro al hablar. En cuanto a mi método, no sigo libros estandarizados. Creo mis propios materiales y actividades prácticas que comparto en una carpeta personalizada para ti. Usaremos recursos del mundo real para que, desde el primer minuto, aprendas el español que realmente vas a utilizar.

My name is Dani and I am Mexican. I always ask my students about their specific goals and their preferred way of learning a language. In my classes I like to take a conversational approach, but this depends entirely on the needs of my students. I use different books with different didactic material, mostly Aula Plus and Bitacora. I also try to practice all skills: talking, writing and listening. If the student wants it, I leave homework, which I correct during the week before the next lesson, so that we can make the most of the lesson time. I share a word or phrase of the week with my students to build a useful vocabulary. Teaching is my passion. I feel motivated by the progress of my students, which I believe also keeps them motivated. German and Spanish are my native languages and I speak fluent English, I also speak fluent Dutch (with a little accent). Therefore, I can explain concepts in all these languages. However, I prefer to speak Spanish as much as possible, also for the beginners lessons, because I believe that people learn the language better that way.

I have a FPELE certificate: Spanish as a Foreign Language Teacher Training. And I have taught A1 to B2 level at a language institute in Spain.
