I have been teaching for the last 3 years and it´s been an amazing experience. I decided to start teaching professionally when I found out that I loved it after I had given some classes for free to foreign students who wanted to study in Spain. When after a while I could see them speak in Spanish, even if not in very good Spanish, I felt so grateful and pleased that I wanted more. So here I am :)
Teaching and studying are so similar...both teacher and student change roles constantly during the class. As for me, I learn how to adapt my classes to every student according to his/her personality and special needs. Generally, I believe that grammar and good structure are the basis of a language so that´s where I start from but then I adjust the vocabulary to the situation and the final target. The point is the communication and the feeling between teacher and student.

I have the C2 of Instituto Cervantes and Diploma de Estudios Hispánicos de Universidad de Salamanca, also Proficiency in English and Celi 5 in Italian ( just in case it helps)

TECHNOLOGIES AT THE SERVICE OF LEARNING.

My name is Laurie and I am an independent FLE teacher, graduated in French and Romance Languages and Literature since 2012. I have eight years of experience under my belt (abroad and in Belgium). I created a learning method for online courses. I have been preparing students for the DELF, DALF, TCF, FIDE, admission exams, etc. for several years.

The course includes:
-The material (articles, videos, exercises based on images and texts, grammatical theory, links to the exercises, etc.). I use google doc, so the ideal is to have a gmail address to be able to access it.
-Correction of exercises outside the course (written expressions are corrected outside the course, or with the student, depending on their needs).
-Access to an application (free) to study vocabulary on your smartphone.
-A vocabulary sheet - pronunciation - grammar/conjugation, sent after each lesson.
-If necessary, a recording of the vocabulary (for beginners).
-Carrying out online exercises and tests based on the vocabulary sheets sent.
-Motivation, laughter, good humor :-)

My method:
-It is oral based.
-For grammar, I use a particular method which allows oral structures to be automated.
-We work on pronunciation with the verbotonal method (exercises to pose your voice, for rhythm, etc.). I might even make you sing! :-)
-Everything goes through the oral before going through the writing but I obviously adapt to the needs of the students.
-The course is a little different for children and teenagers: I use interactive games and cards via the webcam.

At the same time, I teach the grammar rules to the student. I now live in regions where French has been spoken for over 30 years.
