I specialise in tutoring English, Spanish, History, and Politics. I have tutored Spanish for young learners, GCSE, A-level students and adult learners for nearly three years. I learnt Spanish while on my year abroad in Madrid in during the 2017-2018 academic year. I am also a double masters student in International Affairs at Peking University and LSE so have vast knowledge in History and Politics, while English is my native language. My aim is to help my students research their goals, be engaged, and to enjoy learning more so than anything else. I am flexible and let my students tell me how best they prefer to learn. I also give feedback every fortnight to let my students know how they are progressing.

My name is Dani and I am Mexican. I always ask my students about their specific goals and their preferred way of learning a language. In my classes I like to take a conversational approach, but this depends entirely on the needs of my students. I use different books with different didactic material, mostly Aula Plus and Bitacora. I also try to practice all skills: talking, writing and listening. If the student wants it, I leave homework, which I correct during the week before the next lesson, so that we can make the most of the lesson time. I share a word or phrase of the week with my students to build a useful vocabulary. Teaching is my passion. I feel motivated by the progress of my students, which I believe also keeps them motivated. German and Spanish are my native languages and I speak fluent English, I also speak fluent Dutch (with a little accent). Therefore, I can explain concepts in all these languages. However, I prefer to speak Spanish as much as possible, also for the beginners lessons, because I believe that people learn the language better that way.
