Hello everyone! My name is Alkisti, i am a native greek speaker and i have graduated from the department of Philosophy in National & Kapodistrian University of Athens. I have tought greek language to foreings, immigrants (adults and children). I am also passionate about greek history and literature so we could indulge in these areas as well. I believe that greek is a beautiful language that has helped all other languages to develop. I would therefore be glad to teach you fluent Greek.

Hello everyone! I am an experienced, qualified English teacher from the UK. I speak Spanish to intermediate level, and a little Greek and Arabic. I have a first class bachelors degree in English Literature and Sociology from The University of Leeds in the UK.

I have experience teaching all levels from children as young as 5 years old to proficiency level students. I have taught many different exam boards including IELTS, Cambridge, Trinity and Michigan so I can prepare you for your exams.

My lessons are tailor made for my students. In the initial classes we can discuss your weak areas and I can assess what grammatical or pronunciation areas we need to work on.

Most importantly, my classes are fun and inspiring. I can come to your house, or you may come to mine if you live in Thessaloniki area. In addition, I do online classes.

I am Assistant Professor in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. I studied History and Archaeology, I hold a Master of Arts in History, a Phd and Post-doc in Literature for children and young adults and I am a tutor for adults, cerified from the National Organisation for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance. I have 13 year of experience in helping children and adults to learn Greek through specialized courses and to get acquainted with the Greek Culture (Literature, Ancient Greek Mythology, History, Conversational Greek, Walking Greek Lessons, Greek Poems and other interesting ways for practice, such as visits to the museums and cultural sites of Thessaloniki).

I prepare people for exams in the Greek Language-Ellinomatheia levels from A1-C2 and help them to obtain the Certificates from A1-C2 level by the Greek Ministry of Education.My aim is also to help and keep my students motivated and more enthusiastic about the Greek language, etymology, History and culture, make them able to communicate in Greek and introduce them to the Greek habits and traditions.
