My name is Iris.
I am a native German tutor for more than 10 years. I have lived and worked abroad for 8 years. I quickly realized that every student has their own rhythm and their own learning needs. I implement these in order to achieve an effective and pleasant learning climate with motivation and success.

My most important intention is to create a comfortable, fun atmosphere and self-confidence in my students.

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been giving private mathematics lessons daily for over ten years.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next.
