Mathematical Physics I, the Ultimate Upgrade to Future Physicists

Mathematical Physics is the first milestone towards a bright future in physics, especially as an undergraduate. Given that the subject is immensely interesting and wide, this course's main goal is to teach the basic concepts of MP I. If you are struggling with your undergrad course or some of the concepts don't seem to be clear to you, then feel free to book a session when we can resolve any issues of the kind.

Topics covered:
- Systems of linear equations.
- Matrices. e.g. Pauli matrices and Dirac matrices.
- Rotations and reflections in 3D.
- Gradient, divergence, and curl.
- Integral Theorems.

The topic will cover both the conceptual background and the mathematical tools needed to tackle problems at hand with the proper mindset. Additionally, in between, there are examples from other physics subjects are provided like electrodynamics.

A basic knowledge of linear algebra is preferred but a customized plan can always be provided to the student as needed.

Linear Algebra is one essential class to prepare both engineers and physicists for more advanced concepts in the field. Unfortunately, the course is not adequately taught in schools; usually the algebra and mathematical steps are all what's given to students which certainly takes away a lot from the beauty of the subject.

I designed this course to focus on both algebraic and geometric interpretation of Linear Algebra which provides a deep conceptual understanding of the subject that could later be applied to and utilized in different fields easily.
The algebraic part goes all over the mathematical tools and tricks to tackle problems in simple and clear steps. Geometry on the other hand gives the conceptual angle through which one can understand the background of the mathematical methods and the purpose behind them neatly.

This also suits all mathematics enthusiasts who don't get the chance to dive into the subject thoroughly in high school or college.

I was born in Istanbul in 1983. I started teaching Turkish while studying Turkish Language and Literature at university. I worked in a language school and at universities. I have been teaching Turkish professionally for more than 16 years. I also taught Turkish for 5 years when I was a university student. In 2018, I obtained a TESOL certificate and also began teaching English.

Even though I use a communicative approach, my lessons are supported by a solid understanding of grammar, as Turkish has a very different structure.

I use the course book set prepared by Istanbul University. It follows a strategic approach to learning Turkish and includes all language skills—reading, grammar, writing, listening, watching, and speaking—from A1 to C2. All of these skills are essential for conversation.

I teach English for the A1 and A2 levels.

The workbook offers many exercises for homework or revision, and I support the book with my own authentic materials. I also use an interactive board that you can view anytime, and you can edit it as well. Repetition-based speaking practice plays an important role in my lessons.

I speak English well, and a bit of Italian, and I have also studied Persian and German grammar. I am interested in literature.
