I am a British music teacher and music therapist living in Madrid. I offer music theory, singing and piano lessons for children. I am a qualified music therapist, pianist and singer. I am particularly interested in teaching beginners in order to give them a strong foundation in music and to give learners a positive first experience of learning music. I believe it is extremely important to establish a strong foundation in music in order to successfully progress. I adapt lessons to learners' personality and needs, and I believe it is very important to provide a positive experience of learning music; one that is challenging yet nurturing.

MA Music Therapy - Roehampton University.
MSc Psychology - University of Westminster.
ABRSM grade 8 piano, singing and music theory - Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.

The most important thing for me is listening to music. If you are studying music as a hobby or in preparation for your professional career, we will help you achieve the greatest efficiency and get the most out of it by making our job easier. It is clear that learning music requires discipline and work, but can be interesting and expandable.

The flexibility lies in the main features of my classes: My goal for my graduates is that they need a digital method that they have to adapt to their personal attitude and style. The offer of classes for individuals and private groups of all students and the duration of the course are also flexible and depend on the training of the student (most of the little ones that Suelen was able to aprovechar in the last media lessons). Classes can be in Spanish, English, Dutch or Greek.

Language and music theory are presented in all classes, but in an organic form and with a lot of immersion in practice.

Whether you're studying music as a hobby or preparing for your professional career, we focus on being as efficient as possible, learning as much as possible, and having a good time while doing it. Of course, learning music requires discipline and hard work, but it can be done in an interesting and satisfying way.

Flexibility is my main characteristic: my goal is to give you what you need through a dynamic method that adapts to your personality and your specific learning style. I offer both individual lessons and group lessons for people of all ages. The duration of the lessons is flexible and there is also the possibility of combining the lesson content between cello, piano and music theory. We can speak in English, Dutch, Greek or Spanish.

Music theory will be present in a natural and organic way in all lessons.

As a person playing the piano at a beginner or intermediate level, you will become better at playing the piano by several techniques, tricks, and feedback that I will provide you during our lessons. I started playing the piano when I was four years old, so I am able to provide you good lessons where you both learn a lot but also have fun :)
