I loved helping my classmates in college when we were still studying, so teaching for me is about feeling that you are making a valuable contribution to another person's well-being and confidence. My piano and solfeggio teachers instilled in me a love of learning and, subsequently, of teaching as a process. I am able to build harmonious and respectful relationships with my students, which makes me infinitely happy

Jawa (1996) a Syrian oud player, singer and composer.
I was born in Aleppo, and I grew up in Damascus, Syria. I started playing music at the age of eleven. I chose the Oud as my instrument because my father used to play it everyday at home when I was young. Gradually, I fell in love with it and now I feel an unlimited feeling of freedom while playing it. Graduated from Rotterdam Conservatory in 2021.
