I am a qualified classroom and Classically trained instrumentalist and
instrumental teacher with 12 years experience of teaching saxophone, clarinet, flute and piano as a peripatetic teacher in schools and at my private home business. I have been a secondary classroom teacher for 2 years and have experience of teaching across different exam boards.
I aim to keep the pupils goals at the forefront of my teaching whilst introducing new and exciting repertoire and experiences.
I enjoy helping with both solo and ensemble skills and have experience of teaching all ages and abilities from beginners to post-diploma instrumentalists and Reception age to KS5 in schools.

I enjoy getting to know my pupils and what their musical journey is going to be like. I endeavor to provide a relaxed lesson environment but have expectations that pupils will practice outside of the lesson, particularly for exam pupils.
I aim to be able to provide a wealth of repertoire knowledge and give opportunities outside of the lesson for performances.

Jawa (1996) a Syrian oud player, singer and composer.
I was born in Aleppo, and I grew up in Damascus, Syria. I started playing music at the age of eleven. I chose the Oud as my instrument because my father used to play it everyday at home when I was young. Gradually, I fell in love with it and now I feel an unlimited feeling of freedom while playing it. Graduated from Rotterdam Conservatory in 2021.
