I'm a Georgian Opera singer with the experience of teaching. I have bachelor and 2 master degrees in opera singing . For 3 years I was giving lessons in Georgia as for beginners as for professionals. Since I arrived in Italy I continued to give a classes to students online and also in presence.

My teaching method is very easy, because I explain with the simple words. I show my students an examples how to breath correctly, how to make beautiful sounds, as I'm in Italy I can teach bel canto. My goal is to make my students sing with clear intonation, good support , with good pronunciation etc. I have an experience of working with the children also.

Lessons are tailored to the student's needs and interests. Available to tackle grammar or cultural topics on request. The emphasis is placed on lexical usage and interaction: building vocabulary and appropriateness. Grammar is always contextualised within a communicative approach: I avail myself of authentic materials, written or interactive exercises, excerpts from books, newspapers, magazines, blogs, videos. Cross-cultural implications are of central importance, so my lessons give an insight into the Italian way of life, art history, literature, cooking, music etc. I live in Valpolicella, an area renowned for its wine and situated in the province of Verona, Italy, the romantic town of Romeo and Juliet, of the Arena and its opera season. . . I can help you discover some of the most charming tourist attractions of northern Italy, with reference to authentic materials.

If you wish to brush up your Italian, resume a past series of lessons, or simply start from scratch learning Italian, this is the right lesson for you! I like to personalize each class/course according to the needs and goals of my students. My classes are focused on improving the student's communication skills. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts. If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.

I have been a translator and Italian teacher since 2005. I hold a degree and a Master's in Cultural Mediation, which has allowed me to delve deeper into the topic of linguistic diversity and the potential challenges it presents when learning another language. Throughout my career, I have taught students of varying ages (from 6 to 80 years old) and nationalities (Spanish, English, Arab, French, Danish, etc.).

My methods are always adapted to the needs of each student or group of students, depending on the level, interest and reason for studying the language.
In general, the classes are dynamic (alternating between listening, conversation, learning grammar and vocabulary, and consolidating what has been learned).

One of my favorite moments was working with my 12- and 13-year-old niece and nephew in Italy. They started off a little shy, but over time their confidence and English improved so much that when we traveled to the US last year, we could all converse easily and have fun with it.
