In this class, I am going to teach you how to speak English and/or Italian like a native speakers, starting from the sounds of the language to their grammar and syntax. We are going to practice your conversation skills and work on your fluency to then focus on the area of vocabulary you are most interested in according to the circumstances. I am a native Italian speaker who lived in the U.K. for over a year. I have a Bachelor’s degree in languages, foreign literatures and techniques of interpreting and translation as well as a C1 proficiency Cambridge certification. I am currently studying English Linguistics, literature and pedagogy (MA) at the University of Amsterdam. I have several collaboration with Cambridge associated schools and I personally help my pupils get their own certification based on their level, if they wish to have one.

My name is Sam. I am a native Italian speaker who has dedicated is whole life to language education and learning, especially with regard to the English language. Despite my young age, I have lots of experience in teaching both English and Italian as I worked for a Cambridge associated school where I would help my students get their Cambridge certifications. Furthermore, I did a traineeship at Cardiff University as an Italian tutor for extra conversation classes, focused on reinforcing the communication skills of Italian L2 learners. I have recently started with online teaching, to support students from all over the world with their individual studies.

In 2023, I've obtained a Master degree in Linguistics at the University of Amsterdam. I've achieved the C1+ levels in English, on the CEFR scale.
