my passion truly lies in learning and development, as much as I enjoy my current role I feel it doesn’t give me the stimulation I need, or the reward and satisfaction I truly get from supporting learners to develop and learn, figuring out a way to deliver my approach to suit their style and needs, and being out their, with others, finding solutions to problems and showing learners that learning doesn’t always have to delivered in a set way, and support can be tailored to individual needs, circumstance and ability..
This kind of support ultimately ends in the learner gaining skills, knowledge and qualifications as well as providing information around different ways to further education and success, that they may not be aware of. I have an extensive knowledge of various ways to not only provide awareness to learners of avenues to accessing and completing education, but also ways of reliving said information to learners, considering their individual circumstances and back grounds and tailoring my approach to best suit my delivery and support. I do this by utilising my own past work experiences, my own experiences and through working with the national apprenticeship association, my own apprenticeship path way and various life experiences

A qualified language coach with 25 years of experience offers intensive Dutch lessons in a small class or online.

I give many Dutch NT2 lessons to expats and in preparation for an integration exam.
Specialized in guiding for the State Exam I and II. Special exam coach.

In January 2025 I will also start with groups again. We have a great classroom in the center of Rotterdam, near metro station Beurs, lessons with small homogeneous groups (little difference in level).

We mainly go for quality and not just running a lesson. I am really involved in the progress of the student. In addition to teaching, I want to do everything to really motivate students to take the next step. That is my strength!

You can also choose the online lesson package with Whereby, Teams or Zoom in a comfortable way. Online classes are one-on-one or maximum one-on-two, for better results.

My English is fluent, as well as Portuguese and Spanish. I understand the difficulties of overcoming barriers for Latin languages and for expats in general, as I have also been an expat.

Online lessons last 75 minutes once a week for 10 weeks to reach a higher level.

This is the normal speed. Including exam training (A-2 or Staatsexamen) and exam at the end.

Intensive training ? That can also be done in five to ten full days, I am used to giving these very intensive trainings to CEOs or managers who want it faster and more intensive ... all lessons within 3 or 4 weeks. Based on the European system A-1, A-2, B-1, B-2 and C-1

As soon as students want to further improve their knowledge of Dutch, I always advise and coach them to take the State Exam I or II, the only formal Certificate in this country, recognized by employers and universities.

I will try to switch to conversation after a few lessons, to put your knowledge into practice as soon as possible. Don't get too caught up in the grammar.

Teaching is my ultimate passion and even after 25 years it feels like the first time and students always feel inspired to overcome the obstacles.

I also teach you about Dutch social culture, which is intertwined in the course and is strongly related to the language.
