This class fits students of different age groups and playing levels. From absolute beginners about to make their first (musical) steps to more advanced players with more precise goals.

The approach is individual and we will discuss the desired goals in advance and build the learning process around those. Some topics that are usually covered are - rhythm guitar, being able to accompany yourself while singing (in different styles and techniques), lead guitar, improvisation (from basics to advanced), general knowledge of the fretboard and technique.

Hi! I'm a bachelor student of Maastricht conservatory, specialising in jazz guitar. I've been playing and teaching professionally for more than 10 years now, have a lot of experience with students of different ages and levels. Will gladly work with absolute beginners, as well as more advanced players who want to take their playing to a next level. To those who are interested I also offer lessons in music theory (modern music oriented rather than classical), which can be integrated to instrument lessons or taught separately. I have a highly individual approach to every student, prioritise the musical goals and direction that the student wants to go or help to develop those and am doing my best to achieve great results together. CHEAPER THAN THE MUSIC SCHOOL.

Work at home with a qualified professional musician and music teacher.
In South Limburg, from Eijsden to Roermond, and the Belgian border region from Tongeren to Maaseik.
The lessons last 30 minutes and are once a week or two weeks. I give bass guitar (pop, rock, funk, jazz) and double bass (classical and jazz). You decide the pace of the lessons yourself and you can always come up with music that you want to learn to play. Every pupil receives customization. I can always adjust the route.
You learn to play notes in a playful way. Later also music theory that is immediately put into practice. You learn to function independently as a bass player in a band, ensemble, combo or orchestra, or just, on your own.

I propose an apprenticeship based on musicality and efficiency. Technical, certainly, but always in the service of music, songs that we want to play. Because is not this the primary goal of the apprentice drummer / learn to play his favorite songs? Then: join a group, and be able to place themselves effectively on compositions.

In the lessons, we will be focusing on setting or developing all the required skills for the students to be able to perform independently, understand the musical language, and explore their own sound. Focusing on posture, hand coordination, rhythm, ear training, reading scores, and improvisation. So far my musical exposure in many different genres allows me to create a lesson that is adapted to the specific needs of my students. I have garnered the patience and belief in the idea that anyone can become a part of the music world with the proper amount of attention and guidance.

Since childhood, I have been passionate about music, singing, and dancing along to performances on television. My musical journey began in 2001 when I started training as a pianist. In 2017, I was awarded a full scholarship to study for a Diploma in Music at SEGi College Subang Jaya, Malaysia, where I expanded my skills in classical singing and violin. I later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Studies with First Class Honours from the Royal Irish Academy of Music, accredited by Trinity College Dublin, followed by a Master’s degree in Opera and Music Performance from the Conservatorium Maastricht, graduating with cum laude.

With 17 years of teaching experience, I have guided students of all levels—from beginners to aspiring professionals. Some of my students have been accepted into prestigious music colleges with full scholarships, while others have passed their piano and singing exams with distinction. I understand that not every student enjoys music lessons at first, and I take the time to communicate with both students and parents to find the best approach for each individual. My goal is to create a positive, engaging learning environment where students not only improve their musical skills but also develop confidence, creativity, and a love for music.

Beyond teaching and performing, I am a strong believer in overall well-being—I'm a yoga and Pilates enthusiast, a lover of good food, and an avid traveler. These experiences shape my teaching philosophy, helping me bring energy, discipline, and creativity into my lessons. My several years of university studies have given me a functional and integral knowledge of Music Theory. Regarding Chamber Music, which is my life passion, I have studied and performed in a wide variety of contexts and places in Europe and America. In the Netherlands, I received my Master's Degree in Viola at the Maastricht Conservatory.

I am a classical guitarist in Aachen and offer guitar lessons for people who would like to learn the guitar as a classical instrument! Asturias by Isaac Albeniz or the Prelude BVW 998 by Bach are good examples if you want to see what it sounds like. I also teach Latin and Spanish guitar music.
I have been teaching regularly since 2015 and I welcome students of all ages! Can also prepare for university entrance exams.
