I am currently studying at Maastricht University (my bachelor) but before that, my whole education was in French. English and French are both my first languages. I think that learning a new language is something amazing and that being able to discover another culture is eye-opening, especially from a young age. I want to create curiosity and help feel confident in learning, but also learn in a fun and interactive way (games, activities, real life situations...). I believe that learning while having fun makes the learning part easier.

Learning French is a new challenge. This language has its own rules and they are not always logical. There are many ways to learn the French language and you can always find one that suits you. But I also look at how you learn the material and I give you tips to learn smarter. Of course I provide variety with the help of French material, just think of songs, film fragments and reading a piece from the most famous newspapers such as 'Le Figarot' and 'Le Monde'.

MY EXPERIENCE
As a native French speaker, I know the beauty and poetry of the language inside and out, and I’m excited to share it with anyone curious to dive in. Since high school, I’ve offered private tutoring to students aged 10 to 17, helping them with everything from grammar worksheets and book reviews to philosophy essays and creative writing assignments.

As for English, I was raised in an international school environment where English was a core part of my education from childhood through high school. I earned my TOEFL certificate before beginning my current bachelor’s studies, which are entirely in English. I've also taught English with a focus on pronunciation, grammar, syntax, and practical communication skills.

TUTORING SET-UP
When tutoring, I place strong emphasis on tracking progress, often by assigning homework (if agreed upon) and creating clear, structured plans to help students stay on track. I’m always flexible and happy to adapt to each learner’s feedback and preferences to make lessons as enjoyable and engaging as possible.
