Hi,
My name's Scarlett I'm an actor, writer & facilitator born & based in East London.
I've been working as an actor since I was a child & have over 20 years industry experience. Recently I've performed in venues including Shakespeare's Globe, Almeida Theatre & Theatre Deli.

I did my foundation in acting at Mountview Academy, then studiend Drama & Theatre Studies at the University of the West of England & finally studied classical theatre at LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Arts)

I've taught students ranging from age 7 to 70 & have worked with Mousetrap Theatre Company, Masterclass Theatre Royal Haymarket, Arcola Yoth Theatre & National Youth Theatre.

I would be very happy to tailor classes to my students specific needs & have a workshop space where I can host in person classes.

I carefully assess where my students have gaps in their knowledge and then build on closing them through grammar and vocabulary. I therefore give my students the building blocks to create their own sentences in writing and speech.
I work with their text books but also provide my own material to make lessons more interesting. I also use interactive material as well as focussing on past papers and oral exams to help gain confidence in the language.
I engage well with all my students and make the lessons enjoyable and less like an extension of school.
My conversation classes with adults are always fast-paced and fun, and my students very quickly widen their vocabulary and gain confidence in the new language.
