I offer maths lessons to students in grade 1-6 who need an extra support.
Every student has his own way of learning.I evaluate his or her level, strength and weakness and accordingly adapt the way of my teaching.
I don’t have any standard programs but it’s totally based on students needs.
I will assign homework after every class.

I specialize in teaching physics to students of any level and also to candidates of Olympiad of physics. I give detailed and precise description of subjects in a way that student understands the meaning and origin of the field. My goal is to change the viewpoint of students in physics and encourage them to look deeper, more precise and more outside the box!

I tutor various subjects at secondary level, including mathematics, physics, biology, Dutch, English and economics.

For years I have been teaching tutor in different subjects to students of all ages.

I am currently studying linguistics at the University of Amsterdam. At the VWO I followed a nature & technology profile, which means that I also know everything about mathematics and physics as those subjects are taught at a secondary level.

I am a former IB student having taken Math, Physics and Chemistry at Higher Level (HL). I rather enjoyed these subjects and wish to channel my passion to my students, helping them reach the highest result that they deserve. I have good knowledge of the IB course structure and database, so can definitely help any grade in this subject to improve.

I also took Economics SL, having sufficient knowledge to help students following the SL course.

My classes consist of theory, where I will provide special know-how, and practical where I review problems with my students.

As well as traveling to the student's desired location, I am able to give lessons via Skype.

Mathematics is a central subject for all secondary school students and also for many MBO, HBO and WO students.

With a PhD in Mathematics and years of experience in education (university lectures, thesis supervision, tutorials, high school classes, tutoring, etc.) I can provide any kind of tutoring and exam training of high quality.

I am also working as an independent board game designer. I also spend a lot of time with my wife and children aged 0 and 2.

Mathematics used to be a subject that we had a lot of trouble with. I can help with this! I do the math specifically at a beginner level so that the focus is really put on the basics. The level can be increased if desired. I can help with math homework or with problems that are difficult.

I use lots of materials and interactive simulations and conceptual learning where possible. My abilities in education are incredibly strong and getting better every time I tutor. Als ervaren examendocent voor het vak Natuurkunde weet ik waar HAVO- en VWO leerlingen tegenaan lopen. Natuurkunde is een lastig vak en je zal het alleen snappen door veel te oefenen. Bovendien merk ik vaak tijdens de examentrainingen dat de theorie nog niet begrepen wordt. Vandaar dat ik elke les aanvang met theorie. Ik ga grondig door de theorie en vaak geef ik handige examentips waarmee leerlingen punten kunnen sprokkelen op de examens. Na de theorie geef ik een paar examenopgaven/oefenopgaven op die de leerlingen aanvankelijk zelf maken. Als de opgaven gemaakt zijn, bespreek ik ze met de leerlingen en is er tijd voor vragen.
