I specialise in teaching English to non-native students. I have extensive experience teaching english to students from China, Hong Kong and Korea. I focus on conversational english and english for the workplace. I also work with students preparing for MBA, MSc and Phd interviews. I am an outgoing, encouraging and understanding teacher. I really enjoy engaging with students on topics that are interesting and relevant to them. I am very patient and work at your pace but I also work hard to ensure that my students make good progress in a reasonable period of time. Often, students have good written English but struggle with conversational English when they travel abroad, study abroad or work in international companies.

In my personal life, I am a master's student at the London School of Economics in the UK. This has given me a good insight into the standard for international students. I also have experience working in management consultancy.

I have over 4 years of experience in teaching and tutoring English as a second language. I am currently a PhD researcher at King’s College London and run this tutoring business on the side, as I enjoy motivating students to learn new skills and overcome challenges.

I have studied English language and literature for all of my academic life and being multi-lingual (Fluent in Dutch and Sinhala), I understand how difficult it is to learn a language as a complete beginner. I am a 22 years old Belgian Female who recently moved in London in order to pursue my law studies. I completed my bachelor at the University College Maastricht in the Netherlands, and have acquired a lot of tutoring experience over the past three years.
